SPG Solar Selects PV Powered for New California Installations

PV Powered, Inc. announces that its commercial solar inverters have been selected by SPG Solar, Inc. of Novato, Calif. for two large-scale installations in California. The first of the two new installations is at a rice drying facility in Williams, Calif. (north of Sacramento) operated by the DePue Warehouse Company.

This 1MW AC system, installed in December 2009, includes four of PV Powered’s new 260kW commercial inverters (see photo accompanying this release).

The second project will install commercial solar power generation systems at up to 21 different facilities owned by the Irvine, Calif. Unified School District. Depending on the facility, different PV Powered commercial inverters, from 30kW to 260 kW in size will be used.
